Abstract
Razlikujemo transportne probleme linearnog programiranja kod kojih su funkcija cilja i ograničenja izraženi u obliku linearnih funkcija, te transportne probleme nelinearnog programiranja kod kojih su u matematičkom modelu nelinearne veze. Transportni problemi često koriste linearne matematičke modele za rješavanje nelinearnih programa, zanemarujući činjenice da promatrani problemi često nisu vezani nelinearnim vezama. Za rješavanje nelinearnih transportnih problema potrebno je koristiti posebne metode koje će pratiti potrebe i specifičnosti, "anomalija", transportnog problema. Te metode olakšavaju pronalazak optimalnog rješenja transporta.
