Abstract
U radu se obrađuje teorijska i praktična primjena 3D tehnologije čiji zamah svakim danom mijenja budućnost na bolje te potencijalno nosi novu eru kroz nekoliko jezgrovitih domena ljudskih života kao što su inženjerstvo, građevinarstvo, medicina i sl. Uz obradu izrađenih 3D modela (Fakultet Organizacije i Informatike, Varaždin i Politecnica Escuela Superior, Sveučilište u Alcali de Henares, Španjolska) i potom analizom nekih od dostupnih 3D platformi, utvrđuje se generalni napredak u sferi komercijalizacije 3D tehnologije kao i poželjni smjer razvoja u svrhu primjenjivanja benefita ove inovativne tehnologije.
