Abstract
Rad se temelji na opisu Docker tehnologije i primjeni iste tehnologije u svrhu pogona aplikacijskih sustava. Detaljno je objašnjena uloga Dockera u općenitom napretku informacijskog sektora kao i njegove prednosti i nedostaci u odnosu na već postojeći standard pokretanja aplikacija na pripadajućim serverima. Navedeni sadržaj je dodatno razjašnjen putem konkretnog primjera instalacije i integracije Docker tehnologije za koju je razrađena tematika troškovnog aspekta, vršnog opterećenja te potreba koje nastaju u obliku potrebnih znanja stručnog osoblja za implementaciju i održavanje spomenutog sustava.
