Abstract
OSI arhitektura je prva arhitektura upravljanja koja je definirala sva četiri modela (informacijski, organizacijski, komunikacijski i funkcijski model). Informacijski model OSI je potpuno objektno orijentiran. Organizacijski model diferencira OSI sustave prema ulozi upravitelja i ulozi agenta. Komunikacijski model OSI temelji se na skupu upravljačkih servisa CMIS i standardnom upravljačkom protokolu CMIP. Funkcijskim modelom definirano je pet funkcijskih područja, tzv. FCAPS. TMN se sa svojim ključnim elementima temelji na ISO-OSI Management standardu, a definira arhitekturu za upravljanje telekomunikacijskim mrežama.
