Abstract
Benchmarking kao funkcija razvoja malih poduzeća je učinkovita metoda za poboljšanje izvedbe poslovnih procesa. Benchmarkingom se utvrđuju nedostaci postojećeg načina poslovanja, uspoređuju poslovni procesi s najboljima i primjenjuju najbolja rješenja. Preduvjet uspjeha benchmarkinga je fokusiranje na najbolje primjere na tržištu neovisno o tome jesu li nam ta poduzeća konkurenti ili ne, a pri tome je ključno da se promatra i primjenjuje njihov efikasan i učinkovit pristup poslovanju odnosno konkretnoj funkciji koja je predmet analize i usporedbe. Ovim diplomskim radom autor je nastojao približiti cjelokupni benchmarking proces objedinjavanjem stručnih i znanstvenih saznanja i postignuća u području provedbe i primjene benchmarking procesa. Samostalnom analizom nastojao je primijeniti stečena znanja i prikazati odnosno uočiti nedostatke malih poduzeća iz prehrambene industrije te istaknuti potrebu za provedbom kvalitetnog benchmarkinga.
