Abstract
Norma ISO / IEC 12207 je prva međunarodna norma koja osigurava sveobuhvatan skup procesa za stjecanje i nabavku softverskih proizvoda i usluga. Svaki od spomenutih procesa norme može se iskoristiti za planiranje, upravljanje, korištenje ili poboljšavanje softvera tokom njegova životnog ciklusa. Arhitektura same norme omogućava joj kontinuirani razvoj u skladu s najnovijim metodama razvoja softvera, tehnikama, alatima i razvojnim okruženjima. Trenutno se može reći da norma ISO / IEC 12207 ispunjava svoju misiju te predstavlja svojevrsnu osnovu prema kojoj se vrši međunarodna razmjena softverskih proizvoda i usluga.
