Abstract
U ne tako dalekoj prošlosti organizacijske promjene su bile rijetka i za mnoge organizacije nepoznata pojava. Cjelokupno poslovanje se obavljalo po točno određenoj i definiranoj rutini. Međutim, to stanje nije potrajalo toliko dugo, različitim promjenama (društvenim, gospodarskim, tehnološkim napretkom i sl.) dolazi do velikih promjena. Tržišta se otvaraju, postoji mogućnost osvajanja novih područja, kupaca, preferencija kupaca se mijenja i kupci imaju sve veće mogućnosti i izbor. One organizacije koje su uspjele pozitivno odgovoriti na te novonastale promjene i te promjene planski provoditi u organizacijama, ostvaruju značajan profit i osiguravaju dugoročno poslovanje. Danas su organizacijske promjene svakodnevna pojava, te organizacije svakodnevno donose odluke koje u znatnoj mjeri utječu na budućnost njihovog poslovanja, odnosno hoće li postojati i širiti se još na tržištu, ili će nekom nepromišljenom i zakašnjelom odlukom ugroziti svoje postojanje.
