Abstract
Biometrija je znanost i tehnologija provjere identiteta osobe putem mjerenja njenih fizioloških osobina ili načina ponašanja. Biometrija nastoji jedinstveno identificirati pojedinca putem mjerenja njegovih fizioloških osobina i načina ponašanja, te izdvajanjem uzorka tih mjerenja u standardnom formatu podataka. Tu spadaju identifikacija i autentikacija. U autentikacijske metode spada prepoznavanje pomoću glasa, geometrije dlana, dinamike tipkanja, potpisa, rožnice, mrežnice i šarenice, dok u identifikacijske metode spada prepoznavanje pomoću otisaka prsta, DNK-a, uha, mirisa, hoda i slike lica.
