U radu su opisani razvojni procesi koji su obilježje svjetskog poretka; globalizacija, euro-integracija, tranzicija, reorganizacija. Također je prikazano kako navedeni procesi utječu na poslove u pojedinim resorima javne uprave, te je napravljena usporedba Hrvatske s jednom od zemalja EU (Slovenijom).
