Abstract
Poticanje gospodarskog rasta postiže se planiranjem i pravodobnom izgradnjom poduzetničke infrastrukture koja utječe na ravnomjerni regionalni razvoj Republike Hrvatske. Poduzetnička infrastruktura predstavlja sustav poduzetničkih zona i poduzetničkih potpornih institucija. Poduzetničke zone su infrastrukturno opremljena područja definirana prostornim planovima, namijenjena obavljanju određenih vrsta poduzetničkih, odnosno gospodarskih aktivnosti. Cilj rada je opisati poduzetničke zone kao elemenat poduzetničke infrastrukture, istaknuti njihovu važnost u razvoju poduzetničke aktivnosti te istražiti kako poduzetničke zone doprinose gospodarskom rastu i razvoju nekog područja. U radu su prikazani financijski pokazatelji poslovanja poduzetnika na području grada Ivanca i Varaždinske županije te analiza Poslovne zone Ivanec Istok koja prema Jedinstvenom registru poduzetničke infrastrukture spada u poduzetničku zonu. Podaci su dobiveni vlastitim istraživanjem i u suradnji s Financijskom agencijom FINA.
