Abstract
U ovom radu prikazana je kratka povijest razvoja operacijskih istraživanja te njezina svrha. Također, detaljno je objašnjen pojam linearnog programiranja, a glavni naglasak dan je na simpleks metodi – jedna od najkorištenijih metoda za rješavanje konkretnih linearnih problema. Na temelju simpleks algoritma izgrađeno je programsko rješenje što je i svrha ovog rada.
