Abstract
Budućnost je ono što se već stvara danas. U svakoj budućnosti kudi i kamo će biti važnije ideje i koncepcije nego tehnologija. Globalne komunikacije, elektroničko poslovanje i internet donose razvijenom svijetu sve više blagosti bogatstva, razvoja i demokracije. Najrazvijenije zemlje već desetljećima izgrađuju informacijsko društvo koje se temelji na znanju, inovacijama, informacijama i poduzetništvu. Danas su virtualni ured i virtualni oblici poslovanja uobičajene pojave u poslovanju suvremenih poduzeća. Razlog tome je razvijena komunikacijska infrastuktura koja uz svoje brojne prednosti pomaže da virtualni način poslovaja ruši tradicionalne principe ureda, koji se zasnivaju na korištenju strukturiranih papirnih dokumenata, i tako postiže brži napredak i veću učinkovitost.
