Abstract
U ovom radu obradio sam povijest kriptografije, modernu kriptografiju, kriptosustave, mogućnosti šifriranja i upravljanja te sažetak, autentifikaciju, digitalni potpis itd. Enkripcija je postupak šifriranja u kriptografiji koja osigurava podatke dok putuju kroz nesigurni kanal te omogućava da ih pročita isključivo osoba kojoj su podaci namijenjeni. Zato koristimo ključeve kojima ih opet vraćamo u čitljiv oblik. Praktični dio bavi se e-mail enkripcijom kroz desktop klijent, ekstenzije i u pametnim telefonima i web aplikacijama te sigurnim operativnim sustavima..
