Abstract
Predmet ovog rada je sustavi usporedbe slika lica. Tehnologija za prepoznavanje lica primarno se koristi za: verifikaciju, u takozvanim zatvorenim sustavima gdje se biometrijski podaci, u ovom slučaju crte lica, uspoređuju sa onima iz baze podataka; identifikaciju, u takozvanim otvorenim sustavima kada ne znamo da li se određeno lice nalazi u bazi podataka. Od 2D algoritama su opisane Nixonova metoda i Linear Discriminant Analysis. Metode algoritama koji koriste 3D prikaz koje su opisane u radu su 3D prepoznavanje bez rekonstrukcije lica, 3D Morphable Model i metoda bazirana na komponentama.
