Abstract
U ovom radu fokus je na upravljanju zalihama te je objašnjeno zašto su zalihe potrebne, koje su funkcije držanja zaliha, koje vrste zaliha postoje te sustavi planiranja i kontrole zaliha. Objašnjeni su logistički sustavi i troškovi koji nastaju vezano uz logistiku. Slijedi opis upravljanja zaliha, objašnjen je pojam zaliha i njihova funkcija. Opisane su i objašnjene odluke koje se donose kod gospodarenja zalihama, kako se dopunjuju zalihe, koji su troškovi i što su sigurnosne zalihe. Objašnjene su tri metode kontroliranja i planiranja zaliha. U praktičnom dijelu rada na primjeru poduzeća Autocentar Kos analizirano je upravljanje zalihama.
