Abstract
U ovom radu opisano je područje daktiloskopije. Budući je daktiloskopija suvremena metoda u svrhu utvrđivanja identiteta, opisana su njena svojstva i procesi kod daktiloskopiranja osoba. U radu su navedene metode izuzimanja otisaka i metode izazivanja nevidljivih otisaka papilarnih linija. Pošto je tehnološki napredak utjecao na područje daktiloskopije, slike otisaka mogu se digitalizirati i unositi u zbirke kako bi se otisci promatrali i lakše identificirali kada to bude potrebno. Daktiloskopija je vrlo specifična metoda čija uspješna provedba ovisi o mnogim kriterijima kako bi se otisci kvalitetno izuzeli i sačuvali. Stručnjaci svojim znanjem, iskustvom i istraživanjima, i dalje unaprjeđuju daktiloskopiju, te ona postaje sve naprednija metoda izuzimanja otisaka.
