Abstract
U radu su dani odgovori na pitanja što je to turizam, kako se razvio i što sve uključuje. Raspravlja se o odnosu turizma i Republike Hrvatske, da li Hrvatska ima što za ponuditi i može li konkurirati na turističkom tržištu. Rađena je analiza linearnim trendom nad podacima o broju noćenja u Republici Hrvatskoj u razdoblju od 1984.-2008. godine.
