Abstract
U ovom radu opisan je sustav, elementi i veze tog sustava. Objašnjeni su pojmovi modeliranja, modela, vrsta modela te odnos stvarnom svijeta i modela. Opisani su osnovni pojmovi povezani sa simulacijom, metodama i tehnikama simulacijskog modeliranja. Unutar rada govori se o poslovnim procesima, njihovi potprocesima, aktivnostima i vezama između istih. Dodijeljeni su izvršitelji aktivnosti i zauzeće resursa. Izabrani konkretni poslovni proces iz prakse simuliran je unutar jednog od simulacijskih alata. Analizirani su rezultati simulacijskih eksperimenata i njihova upotrebljivost u stvarnom svijetu.
