Abstract
OpenType je pametni font sustav oblikovan od strane Adobe-a i Microsofta. Zbog široke dostupnosti i tipografske fleksibilnosti oni su danas uobičajeni na većini računalnih platformi. Rad započinje povijesnim razojem fontova, zatim slijedi podjela fotova, njihove razlike, prednosti i nedostaci. Zatim se prelazi na digitalne fontove i njihov razvoj, tehnike kreiranja fontova te opis procesa kreiranja. Potom slijedi opis Open Type fontova, njegove karakteristike, kodne tablice i pravci razvoja te za kraj zaključaki literatura.
