Abstract
Rad se sastoji od opisa i definicija samog pojma retorika. Slijede povijest i razvoj u Grčkoj i Rimu, srednjem i novom vijeku, vrsta govora prema Aristotelu i općenito. Nakon toga dolazi opis retoričkog trokuta (ethos, pathos, logos) i pet kanona retorike (inventio, dispositio, elocutio, memoria, pronuntiato). Na kraju se opisuju sastavni dijelovi uspješnog govorništva.
