Abstract
U ovom radu objašnjen je koncept osiguranja i rizika. Rizik za većinu predstavlja opasnost i neizvjesnost, dok je osiguranje pojam koji se povezuje sa sprečavanjem ili ublažavanjem šteta koje mogu nastati zbog izbijanja neželjenog događaja. Također su detaljnije obrađene vrste rizika, utjecaj rizika na organizaciju te sustav za upravljanje rizicima. Nadalje, opisani su IT rizici, oblici upravljanja rizikom i faze procesa upravljanja rizikom. Zatim je obrađen pojam osiguranja, povijest i zakonodavni okvir te je na kraju opisano tržište osiguranja u RH i napravljena analiza o tržištu.
