Za donošenje racionalnih odluka potrebno je provesti istraživanje tržišta. Rad obuhvaća opis procesa istraživanja u svrhu razvoja nove usluge. Podaci prikupljeni aknetnim upitnikom ukazuju na zainteresiranost ciljne skupine, te sadržaj koji bi web stranica trebala sadržavati.
