Abstract	U diplomskom radu je objašnjena uloga roditelja te uloga nastavnika u odgoju i obrazovanju djeteta, uzimajući u obzir pravne okvire i relevantne dokumente. Osim toga opisan je pojam suradnje, te važnost suradnje nastavnika i roditelja za dobrobit djeteta. Da bi se važnost suradnje shvatila izrađen je kratak pregled dosadašnjih istraživanja vezanih uz temu te su izdvojeni otvoreni izazovi i primjeri dobre prakse. U istraživačkom dijelu rada je istražena suradnja roditelja i nastavnika u varaždinskim srednjim školama po uzoru na prethodna istraživanja.
