Abstract
Da bi se mogla koristiti biometrijska obilježja za postupke identifikacije i autentifikacije potrebno je kreirati biometrijski sustav. Takav se sustav sastoji od skenera biometrijskih obilježja, softvera koji pretvara prikupljene informacije u digitalni oblik i baze podataka ili fizičkog medija u kojima se nalaze digitalno zapisani, prethodno prikupljeni, biometrijski podaci.
