Abstract

An overview of the different aspects and roles that women conduct in business organizations and their impact on making business decisions. Equality between women and men is a fundamental principle of the European Union included in the Treaties and is one of the goals and tasks of the European Union, and the inclusion of the principle of equality between men and women in all its activities is a special mission of the Union. Implementation of empirical research, with the purpose of determining the influence of the personality of women, and the psychological factors that the most sensitive gender affects important decisions within business organizations.
By conducting surveys an a conditionally representative sample of business women, the author wanted to check whether women in leadership positions in society were aware of their abilities and values, whether they were overwhelmed by stereotypes and prejudices that were limiting the advancement of women in the past and whether they were aware that only work, education and systematic investment in knowledge and skills opens up the door to progress and the possibility of breaking down the most common thinking about women who are predominated exclusively by the roles of mothers and housewives. The aim of such research is always widespread, which is to raise public awareness of the unequal position of women and men on the labor market, as well as the different valuation of their work.
