Abstract
NoSQL baze podataka noviji su oblik baza podataka. U relacijskim bazama podataka podaci se spremaju u tablice koje imaju stupce i retke, a kod NoSQL baza podaci se spremaju u određeni format ovisno o vrsti baze podataka. Relacijska baza samim time što koristi tablice ima zadanu shemu baze koja se mora poštivati, dok NoSQL baze nemaju shemu pa se često mogu naći nestrukturirani podaci u njima. MongoDB je sustav za upravljanje bazama koji spada u kategoriju NoSQL sustava. O tom sustavu će se govoriti dalje u radu. Također istražit će se najvažnija svojstva MongoDB sustava. Na kraju će biti dokumentirana aplikacija koja komunicira s MongoDB sustavom.
