Abstract
Hiperbolička geometrija nastala je sumnjom matematičara u V. Euklidov postulat. Kao geometrija potpuno ravnopravna euklidskoj postala je dokazom njezine neproturječnosti. Neproturječje hiperboličke geometrije posljedica je neproturječnosti euklidske geometrije. Autori hiperboličke geometrije su Gauss, Lobačevski i Bolyaj. Postoje 4 modela hiperboličke geometrije: Model gornje poluravnine, Poincaréov model diska, Kleinov model, Loidov model.
